This morning, I went to my six month eye exam at Atlantic Retinal Consultants new office on Merritt Island. First, the parking lot is huge. It's shared with Home Depot. Next, the waiting area is quite spacious, also. Then, the place is very big and new. Everyone wore a black uniform with the same black tennis shoes. It was very perfessionnal. Everyone was nice and I didn't have to wait long to be attended to. I went through all of the usual tests and saw Dr. Ganiban, in way less than an hour, which is unusual. I've been going to Dr. Ganiban for almost 25 years. He's a great doctor, very thorough and I recommend him to all of my friends. If you need to see an eye specialist, Dr. Ganiban, in my experience, is the best.

No doubt dealing with a serious eye issue can make you anxious. This was how I felt walking in to meet Dr Gambian. I can assure you after my exam he took the time to answer my questions on treatment and I left with a clear understanding of what was going on and how my treatment was going forward. Yesterday I had another stellar appointment with Dr. Vaishnav! The doctor, along with the terrific staff, are totally professional, competent, and also friendly. I will continue to recommend their services to others.

3 times now I have seen Dr. V. Each visit was over 2 hours long. Waiting room time was over an hour to begin with, then another 45 minutes after dilation. It is ridiculous for any patient to have to wait this long. I don't care how nice the staff is and how well educated the doctor is, this kind of waste of untold patient's time creates a damper to say the least on their experience. I have many doctors, and none (including the other optometrist I see in the Atlantic group) make me wait even half the time. Absolutely rude, financially greedy, and disrespectful!

Through and fast exam

Everyone is so kind and caring in this office. They take the time to answer questions and concerns if needed. If you have an emergency with your eye I they will get you in asap that is such a relief. The wait time can be a bit longer than I would like but the care is worth it.

I am a patient for about 12 years of Dr. Vaishnav, he always takes time to answer your questions and does a complete exam and explains your .prognosis and treatment. Appointments are completed in a timely fashion, an occasional delay is short and explained courteously.

Dr. Ganiban was wonderful as usual. I would like to comment, however, on the length of wait time. I was called in just about an hour past my appointment time. I would like to see a little more time efficiency. But this would not cause me to not see Dr. Ganiban, however.

I appreciate the convenience of the Merritt Island office, scheduling is much better than the Viera office, wait time was about 30 minutes, but once they call you back it moves quickly. Dr. Ganiban takes time to listen and explain things.

He's been my eye doctor since a surprise retinal year. His professional and courteous manner makes going to a Doctor's office less stressful.

DR HETAL VAISHNAV DID A SURGERY ON MY LEFT EYE I HAD NO PAIN AND EVERYTHING HE DID LOOK OK I RECOMMEND HIM

Patient woke up Sunday morning and was unable to see clearly. Monday being a holiday, patient called first thing Tuesday morning, after consulting with Dr. Ganiban an appointment was scheduled for the same morning. Dr. Ganiban has always had my best interests in mind.

Dr. Ganiban is the best; period! As a result of the care and procedures conducted by this practice I still have vision. Each visit is marked by a friendly and professional process where my health is evaluated, and sustainment recommendations are provided. I've been Dr. Ganiban's patient for many years now and I have no inclination of trusting my eyesight with any other person.

This is really a two part feedback…. 1. The positive….. Dr V is awesome and I trust his judgements and plans for my care. 2. The negative….the wait times to be seen were way too long. I was there for almost 2 hours. I feel the number of appointments scheduled is too many to be effectively handled. I’m still working and use sick time for appointments so the delay, to me, is inconvenient.

The new facility is excellent for moving the right people to the right place in record time. The front desk was so helpful. Dr. Ganiban was/is an excellent source of information for anything you have questions on.

The doctor seemed very knowledgeable but I felt rushed. Too many patients in waiting room. I needed more time to have my questions answered.

I needed to change my appointment. I called first thing in the morning to see if there was a cancelation and got in the same day. Thank you.

The entire staff was wonderful with the exception of the front office person. She requested my insurance card, which I have electronically on my phone , as I don't carry around papers. When she attempted to provide me an email address to send it to that was incorrect. Never did get that resolved. Then on check out there were 4 people waiting to schedule future appts. She appeared ro be looking out the window and told all of us she was stretched too thin and could not schedule anyone til her coworker returned. One other person and myself chose not to wait. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Very professional and about normal wait time for eye doctors

I’ve been a patient of Dr Ganiban since 2003 after it was discovered I had a branch retinal occlusion in my left eye! Since I’ve lost most of the sight in my left eye, I know he is concerned and careful to protect the sight in my right eye! I trust him and his ability and knowledge to do just that! His staff and office workers are all very nice and helpful as well! Dr Ganiban knows what he is doing and I recommend him whatever your problem may be!

I understand that sometimes an appointment may seem to run behind schedule, but I'm thankful that Dr Vaishnav does sometimes run a bit behind. Let me explain. The extra time that I sometimes need may cause someone else to have to wait a few minutes longer. I would like to add to what I already left. I had a pretty rough day after I got the eylea shot. My eye felt like there was grit under my eye lid,there was blood pooled at the bottom of the eye, and the eye was and still is very sore. This is just for your information. Dr. Vaishnav is a highly professional, knowledgeable retina specialist who may have saved my eyesight in my left eye. I’m a bit of a split personality - one eye has dry macular degeneration, the other eye has wet. Having someone inject medication in ones eye is not a pleasant thought, but he delivered beyond my expectations. I will need injections for the rest of my life, but now there is no more fear, actually, it’s a walk in the park!
