Dr Ganiban thoroughly explained all the findings on my fluorescent angiography of my retinas and spent a lot of time with me discussing possible differential diagnoses . He outlined treatment plans and followup and answered all my questions. I had excellent care and thank him and his staff very much.

Have been seeing Dr. Ganiban in the Rockledge office, but this appt was made in the new office in Merritt Island. Wait time was significantly shorter. Also they follow a protocol of several tests before concluding the visit with the doctor. His recommendations re my eye care have been accurate % Dr's bedside manner is 5 stars.

He explained in detail what he observed, and what measures could be taken to nourish my eyes and keep them healthy. I was a tad early. They got me dilated almost right away, that was nice. Then it was almost an hour before I saw Dr. Ganiban for about a 5 minute exam. The doctor is very personable. The staff is very nice. The wait sucks…

Wait time is ridiculous

Yesterday I had another stellar appointment with Dr. Vaishnav! The doctor, along with the terrific staff, are totally professional, competent, and also friendly. I will continue to recommend their services to others.

3 times now I have seen Dr. V. Each visit was over 2 hours long. Waiting room time was over an hour to begin with, then another 45 minutes after dilation. It is ridiculous for any patient to have to wait this long. I don't care how nice the staff is and how well educated the doctor is, this kind of waste of untold patient's time creates a damper to say the least on their experience. I have many doctors, and none (including the other optometrist I see in the Atlantic group) make me wait even half the time. Absolutely rude, financially greedy, and disrespectful!

Through and fast exam

Everyone is so kind and caring in this office. They take the time to answer questions and concerns if needed. If you have an emergency with your eye I they will get you in asap that is such a relief. The wait time can be a bit longer than I would like but the care is worth it.

I am a patient for about 12 years of Dr. Vaishnav, he always takes time to answer your questions and does a complete exam and explains your .prognosis and treatment. Appointments are completed in a timely fashion, an occasional delay is short and explained courteously.

Dr. Ganiban was wonderful as usual. I would like to comment, however, on the length of wait time. I was called in just about an hour past my appointment time. I would like to see a little more time efficiency. But this would not cause me to not see Dr. Ganiban, however.

I appreciate the convenience of the Merritt Island office, scheduling is much better than the Viera office, wait time was about 30 minutes, but once they call you back it moves quickly. Dr. Ganiban takes time to listen and explain things.

Patient woke up Sunday morning and was unable to see clearly. Monday being a holiday, patient called first thing Tuesday morning, after consulting with Dr. Ganiban an appointment was scheduled for the same morning. Dr. Ganiban has always had my best interests in mind.

Dr. Ganiban is the best; period! As a result of the care and procedures conducted by this practice I still have vision. Each visit is marked by a friendly and professional process where my health is evaluated, and sustainment recommendations are provided. Dr and his staff was professional and courteous. Had some issues with prior authorization and marking me a "no show" when they canceled the appointment and rescheduled me.

Dr. Canibbn is a very nice guy as it goes for doctors. You almost want to think he is a close friend. His medical treatment is fantastic. I’ve had two surgeries by him and I have no complaints. This is really a two part feedback…. 1. The positive….. Dr V is awesome and I trust his judgements and plans for my care. 2. The negative….the wait times to be seen were way too long. I was there for almost 2 hours. I feel the number of appointments scheduled is too many to be effectively handled. I’m still working and use sick time for appointments so the delay, to me, is inconvenient.

I have been a patient for close to 15 years. Dr Vaishnav saved my right eye when he saw a melonoma, and sent me to a oncologist. He continues to treat me with injections & regular exams. Besides being a great Dr. he is compassionate, patient, & friendly.

Dr. Ganiban puts his patients at ease. I'm always nervous going to doctors, especially an opthalmologist, when I have an "emergency." He put me at ease right away, explained my condition and has been following me closely for past four months. At yesterday's visit he said my next appointment would be in six months, unless I had new symptoms. He is very kind and caring...just a great doctor and person. I recommend Dr. Ganiban to anyone who has retina issues.

The entire staff was wonderful with the exception of the front office person. She requested my insurance card, which I have electronically on my phone , as I don't carry around papers. When she attempted to provide me an email address to send it to that was incorrect. Never did get that resolved. Then on check out there were 4 people waiting to schedule future appts. She appeared ro be looking out the window and told all of us she was stretched too thin and could not schedule anyone til her coworker returned. One other person and myself chose not to wait. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Very professional and about normal wait time for eye doctors

I’ve been a patient of Dr Ganiban since 2003 after it was discovered I had a branch retinal occlusion in my left eye! Since I’ve lost most of the sight in my left eye, I know he is concerned and careful to protect the sight in my right eye! I trust him and his ability and knowledge to do just that! His staff and office workers are all very nice and helpful as well! Dr Ganiban knows what he is doing and I recommend him whatever your problem may be!

Dr. Vaishnav is a highly professional, knowledgeable retina specialist who may have saved my eyesight in my left eye. I’m a bit of a split personality - one eye has dry macular degeneration, the other eye has wet. Having someone inject medication in ones eye is not a pleasant thought, but he delivered beyond my expectations. I will need injections for the rest of my life, but now there is no more fear, actually, it’s a walk in the park!

He is attending to me very professional explaining everything what is happening and what to do. He wants things to be done, tests, floureceint andiogram aa soon as possible so that he can administer the necessary treatment.

I experienced excessive wait times. I am assuming over booking causes this situation. After waiting. More than two hours I had a very successful meeting with my doctor. Consultation was very good and his recommendations and. And proposed remedies were very satisfying. So to summarize time with the doctor very very pleasing, waiting time before I could see the doctor was very excessive. Maybe his practice should be expanded with another qualified doctor in order to cut down the waiting times.

Excellent doctor and staff but the wait is very long. Usually 2-3 hours from sign in to vision and pressure check, scan and to finally get the injection. Staff seems to rotate frequently and I hear staff members saying they are short staffed frequently. Dr V always listens to my concerns and addresses them and he seems to do a lot of research which is encouraging.

Doc is great , maybe the best , BUT the wait time is out of anything described as normal!! 1 hour after arriving before even the preliminary work begins. Another hour till I see the Doc . 5 very good minutes with Doctor Vashivanav and out the door in 2 HOURs for a routine yearly exam ! You have clean up the patient schedule procedure as a business practice to be professional about the practice.. this is meant to be helpful not a anger filled complaint. I really like the Docs and just want them to be successful… Clean up the schedule management.

Dr V is good. Kind. Explains things. But I suffered all night through early morning - eyes burning very badly for 12-14 hours after appt. I believe the tech rubbed betadine soap into both eyes instead of gently wiping it off. Both eyes burned fiercely and swelled almost shut. Had to use cold compresses 30-40 times to cool the burning and swelling in both eyes. It’s been almost 24 hours and my eyes are still irritated and swollen. Scary.
